About Montezuma Telephone
Montezuma Telephone was formed in 1919 by active town leaders who wanted to assure that their rural community would have a quality telephone system. Ten years later, the McFarlin family began 76 years of leadership, building the company into an advanced, full-service enterprise providing telephone, cable television and internet services to Montezuma, Deep River and Barnes City.
Today, Montezuma Telephone & Cable is a subsidiary of Iowa Telecom and provides digital switching and all-buried cable plant to provide reliable high quality voice, video and data circuits to serve business and residential customers.
